If you choose to pay privately instead of using insurance, your therapy stays completely confidential and tailored to your needs. This option gives us more freedom to focus on what feels most helpful for you—without being limited by insurance requirements, diagnoses, or session caps. It also keeps your records fully private, so your care remains just between us.

Confidentiality is the foundation of our therapeutic relationship and something I take very seriously. What you share in session stays between us. There are, however, a few important exceptions where I am legally and ethically required to break confidentiality. As a mandated reporter, I must take action if there is suspected child or elder abuse or neglect, or if there is intent to harm yourself or someone else. I am also obligated to comply with court orders when applicable. If any of these situations arise, I will discuss them with you right away and keep you informed every step of the way.
